Top Strongest Konoha 12 Members – Hey guys!. In this post, I’ll be discussing a list of Top Strongest Konoha 12 Members. We will be ranking the members of konoha 12 i.e. the shinobi from naruto’s generation (his classmates) based on how strong they were as genins in part one. So let us count down the list from weakest to strongest.

12. Sakura Haruno

Sakura was quite weak in part one and asides form her incredible skill in chakra control, she lacked any particular combat skill. She didn’t really do anything noteworthy, all we have is her battle with ino at the chunnin exams where the fight ended in a draw.

11. Ino Yamanaka

Just like sakura, Ino didn’t really have any combat skill and the most she was capable of was her clan’s signature ability “Mind Body Switch Technique” which allows her to briefly possess a target and take control of their actions. They are in the same position because they fought to a draw at the chunnin exams and didn’t really do anything after that, making it difficult to place one above the other.

10. Tenten

Tenten was already quite skilled at using different kinds of weapons as a genin and she could summon numerous weapons at once. However, she didn’t accomplish much throughout part one and easily lost to temari at the chunnin exams.

9. Hinata Hyuga

Hinata was quite skilled in part one and was only held by her shy and reserved personality which greatly hindered her performance. Despite being much weaker than neji she could hold up for a while against him at the chunnin exams but that’s the most we saw her do in part one.

8. Kiba Inuzuka

Kiba was not bad in part one and as a genin he was already capable of using the inuzuka’s clan techniques. His most notable feat in part one was against sakon and ukon where he was capable of holding his own against them in long fierce battle.

7. Shikamaru Nara

Shikamaru’s strong point isn’t his strength but his battle IQ which he displayed from the very start of the series. Using his battle IQ alongside the shadow possession technique of the nara clan, he proved capable of defeating stronger opponents like temari at the chunnin exams.

6. Choji Akimichi

Throughout most of the series, Choji’s low self-confidence cover up his strength but whenever he or his friends were insulted he became agitated to fight. Using the three coloured pills which he could only use as a last resort, he became strong enough to defeat a sound four member “Jirobo” in part one. By the war arc he no longer needed to use the pills.

5. Shino Aburame

Shino was introduced as very calm and collected shinobi and quite powerful as well, being one of the strongest gennin in part one. He could use the signature ability of the aburame clan which involves controlling insects. He proved strong enough to battle to a draw against kankuro who was quite skilled in puppetry and also one of the strongest genin around.

4. Neji Hyuga

Neji was possibly the strongest konoha 12 member at the start of the part one. Being hailed as a genius neji was incredibly skilled at using the byakugan and almost all its derived techniques including the techniques that were limited only to the main family of the clan. At the chunnin exams naruto had to use the nine tails chakra in order to defeat him. He managed to defeat “Kidomaru” one of the sound four with the latter being a long ranges fighter.

3. Rock Lee

Being incapable of using ninjutsu, Lee had no choice but to rely on taijutsu and through hard work he delivered. In apart one lee was quite incredible, capable of using the druken fist and the fifth gate. Using the fifth gate he was so fast that gaara was completely overwhelmed and he only lost because of the drawbacks of the fifth gate as well as gaara’s sand armor.

2. Sasuke Uchiha

By the end of part one sasuke had completed his sharingan (3-tomoe), use chidori and could use the curse mark level two. During his battle with naruto, his form was strong enough to match naruto’s one tail kyubi mode and even proved to be slightly stronger as he ended up winning the fight.

1. Naruto Uzumaki

Naruto wasn’t all that special (Strength wise) at the beginning of the series but by the end of part one he had become immensely powerful. He mastered the rasengan, could use hundreds of shadow clones, use the nine tails chakra up to one tails as well as summon gamabunta. He defeated neji at the chunin exams and defeated gaara using gamabunta with gaara being in tailed beast mode.
