Anime Where Main Character Goes To A Magic School

Top 10 Anime Where Main Character Goes To A Magic School – Hey guys!. In this post, I’ll be discussing a list of Top 10 Anime Where Main Character Goes To A Magic School. I think it’s time to dive back into the world of magic in anime. That’s right! You know, the magic wands, spells, demon lords, and all those types of tropes. It’s all available for you to watch in this article.

This is an exciting one, to be honest. Sit back and prepare yourself to go back to school. Yeah, I hate school, I know, but magic academies are pretty damn fun.

10. Rakudai Kishi no Cavalry

animesoulking

Let us begin this list with many people’s favorite from the good old days of 2015—Rakudai Kishi no Cavalry. This is the tale of Ikki, the weakest-ranked Blazer in a magic academy, where he can’t use magic like other students can, which makes him look bad.

Though one day, he actually manages to defeat the queen, an A-ranked Blazer named Stella, and she has to become his slave after a deal. All this time, however, Ikki did have a special type of power that made him really stand out among his peers during fights against criminals and in tournaments.

But one of the main selling points of this show is, of course, the romance. So you all really need to check this out if you haven’t yet.

9. The Iceblade Sorcerer Shall Rule the World

Anime Where Main Character Goes To A Magic School

Well, I guess I don’t mind sharing some generic stuff with you all because you certainly can’t have a list without them. The protagonist, Ray, inherits the powers of the Iceblade Sorcerer and is one of the legendary heroes.

Though to hide his identity, he goes to a magic school as a normal student but refuses to showcase his powers. He is indeed the only commoner surrounded by nobles, and he gets bullied, but it’s only a matter of time before disaster strikes the academy. That is when he will need to show his powers to save his classmates from danger.

8. The Greatest Demon Lord Is Reborn as a Typical Nobody

I actually found this anime very enjoyable. Maybe it’s on the lower end of things, but still, it just gets the job done at being a very decent Demon Lord anime.

The Greatest Demon Lord Is Reborn as a Typical Nobody follows the Demon Lord Varvatos, who became the strongest being in the universe, with no one able to rival him. He truly wanted a friend but got so lonely since he alienated himself from everyone else. He decides to reincarnate into the next life.

I mean, he’s a Demon Lord—he can just do that anyway! Thousands of years later, in the future, he is now Ard Meteor, prepared to go to a magic academy and has even nerfed himself to match the powers of everyone else. But alas, he is still too damn strong.

7. The Aristocrat’s Otherworldly Adventure: Serving Gods Who Go Too Far

animesoulking

Another one of those power fantasy isekai anime tropes of an overpowered protagonist. Sounds like fun, right? A guy dies in reality—yeah, nobody really cared about him anyway—but now he is reborn as a child named Cain, a prodigy with a very promising future.

Thanks to him being so damn overpowered, only his family knows about his powers, as he must not tell anyone else about them. It doesn’t take too long before the royal academy finds out what this kid is truly capable of—like almost destroying the school and summoning a demon lord out of nowhere.

6. Wistoria: Wand and Sword

Anime Where Main Character Goes To A Magic School

Wistoria: Wand and Sword is truly a great addition to this list simply for being a very good-looking anime. It also takes a similar approach to Mashle but in a more serious way and without any comedy. Will is a student at the magic academy, but he really can’t use magic.

Instead, he excels in close combat using a sword, yet others make fun of him, calling him a loser and believing that he won’t make it too far. To their surprise, however, he can do things no one thought possible. Even without magic, he’s powerful in his own way but very, very underestimated.

5. Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun

animesoulking

Now, this is quite an under-watched anime, but to me, it’s one of the best isekai I’ve ever seen. Iruma was sold by his parents to a demon, who then took him to another world and gave him the life he deserved—through love, affection, and a beautiful giant mansion.

Sullivan was the chairman of the demon academy, and Iruma is about to be a new transfer student. He is the only human surrounded by demons who may eat him if they find out his true identity.

4. Villainess Level 99: I May Be the Hidden Boss but I’m Not the Demon Lord

Anime Where Main Character Goes To A Magic School

This is a reincarnation anime of a girl with beautiful jet-black hair who wields powerful dark magic, which other people fear. People believe she has something to do with the Demon Lord, thanks to those qualities she possesses, and she may even be the hidden final boss of this game.

The protagonist, Yumiella, attends this magic academy, and she is so damn overpowered at level 99 that no other student even comes remotely close to her incredible power level.

3. Classroom for Heroes

Anime Where Main Character Goes To A Magic School

This is a magic academy anime about a powerful legendary hero who opens up his very own academy to recruit his successor. Sounds pretty fun, right? The hero defeats the Demon Lord and now opens up a school.

He decides to pose as a student to witness his fears and hopefully actually make friends. Yet, no one realizes that he is the one and only legendary hero—overpowered to the very tippity top. Some can’t even believe how much power he holds. He looks like an idiot, but man, he packs a punch with his sword.

2. The Irregular at Magic High School

Now we’re moving on to a classic—one of my favorite magic academy anime—The Irregular at Magic High School. The protagonist, Tatsuya, is pretty bad when it comes to written examinations but majorly excels in practical ones, especially combat.

His sister, Miyuki, on the other hand, is pretty good at both. Now, Tatsuya holds intense power, but due to the fear that it is so dangerous, his sister Miyuki watches over him and stays beside him while suppressing his power to a less dangerous version of himself.

1. The Misfit of Demon King Academy

animesoulking

And finally, to recommend the last anime in today’s article list—Misfit of Demon King Academy. The one and only, the most powerful Demon Lord of all time! Now, I’m sure you all remember this glorious anime from the good old days.

The mighty Demon Lord, who reincarnated years into the future to once again take the throne in a magic academy and destroy those who stand in his way. Yes, he will get a harem and the girls because, you know, he’s overpowered—why not? It’s all part of the lore! But let alone, he mocks and shows no mercy to those who dare challenge a true Demon Lord.
