The film is directed by Junpei Mizusaki, who is known for his work on JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure openings, with co-direction by Shinji Takagi. The screenplay is written by Kazuki Nakashima, known for Promare, while character designs are by Takashi Okazaki from Afro Samurai.
The music for the film is composed by Yugo Kanno, recognized for his work on PSYCHO-PASS. Koichi Yamadera will once again lend his voice to Batman.
About the Original Movie
In the original Batman Ninja, the story follows Batman as he is sent back in time to feudal Japan due to a time displacement machine created by Gorilla Grodd. Many of his enemies also end up in this era, taking on roles as feudal lords. With his high-tech gadgets rendered useless, Batman must rely on his cleverness and the help of his allies, like Catwoman, to restore order and find a way back to Gotham City.
