Yano-kun no Futsu no Hibi Live-Action Movie Drops Main Trailer and Visual – The live-action movie adaptation of Yui Tamura’s manga Yano-kun no Futsu no Hibi (Mr Yano’s Ordinary Days) is set to hit Japanese theatres on November 15, 2024.
The film’s official website has just shared the main trailer, which features two songs: Yellow Yellow by FANTASTIC and the new track Staying with You by Travis Japan. Additionally, the main poster visual with the tagline “Love starts from bad luck!?” has also been revealed.
Plot Summary
The story revolves around Yoshida, a diligent class chairperson who is deeply concerned about Yano, a classmate who always arrives at school with injuries. Curious about Yano’s frequent mishaps, Yoshida and her friends investigate and discover that Yano is incredibly unlucky. His bad luck affects his everyday life, making it difficult for him to have a normal high school experience.
Moved by his struggles, Yoshida decides to help him. As she supports Yano, she finds herself drawn to his honest and kind nature. Meanwhile, the most popular boy in school confesses his love to Yoshida, adding another layer to the story. Yano, touched by Yoshida’s kindness, begins to experience feelings of love for the first time.
Cast and Crew
The film stars Yusei Yagi from FANTASTICS as Tsuyoshi Yano, marking his debut as a lead in a feature film. Anji Ikehata plays the heroine, Kiyoko Yoshida. The film is directed by Takehiko Shinjo, known for his work on live-action adaptations of popular shojo manga like Paradise Kiss and Daytime Shooting Star.
