Top 10 Best Romance Anime with No Bad Episodes

Romance Anime With No Bad Episodes

Top 10 Best Romance Anime with No Bad Episodes – These days, a lot of romance anime don’t live up to the standards, so how about we make a change and watch some romance animes with zero bad episodes? Here are 10 best romance anime with no bad episodes. Let’s go!

10. The Dangers in My Heart

Romance Anime With No Bad Episodes

Romance anime doesn’t usually have a serial killer, but here we are with a guy who literally dreams about murder. His number one target? The class idol, Anna Yamada. But forget the killing part—what really matters is their interactions.

The guy might have some pretty dark thoughts, but he’s also ridiculously shy, while the girl, well, she just loves to mess with him. This is one of the most wholesome anime to ever come out. Apart from the whole drama, this also knows how to create a perfect romance.

At first, the entire thing might look cringey, but trust me—stay for a couple of episodes, and you’ll love the interactions between the two characters. It also has some of the best character growth that I’ve ever seen in any anime, so make sure to check it out.

9. Komi Can’t Communicate

Romance Anime With No Bad Episodes

This is pretty much proof that you don’t need an angry, bratty tsundere to market your anime. This girl is the complete opposite—she’s shy, she’s blushing, and she can’t communicate. This is about Hitohito Tadano, who sits next to the most popular girl in school, Shouko Komi.

Now, even though she’s popular, she’s got a big problem—she has some crippling social anxiety and communicates her thoughts by writing on the blackboard. Even before this anime was released, you knew it was going to be good because of the cult following the manga had.

The manga got popular because it built its entire story around the shy girl trope and somehow managed to keep it original and refreshing. Besides, this gave birth to an entire breed of people called “Komi simps.” That’s the kind you turn into when you simp too hard for an anime girl.

8. The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You

Romance Anime With No Bad Episodes

Wait, what? Is this a harem anime in a romance anime list? Please don’t tie me to a stake and burn me because I have a point, okay? The point is how even a harem anime with a twist can add some nice comedic elements to every single episode and keep it interesting through its entire run.

It’s so interesting it got a second season right after its first season! This is about a guy who gets a gift from God—he’ll get a girlfriend every day until he gets 100 girlfriends. Comedy anime is hard to do, so when a comedy anime like this comes along and does it well, everybody loves it.

I was a fan of this even before the anime was released because I read the manga, and the amount of references, the gags, the character personalities, and even the wholesome and vibrant attitude of the main character makes this anime officially have no bad episodes. So go watch this and tell me a bad episode—I dare you!

7. Clannad: After Story

animesoulking

This is actually a sequel to the anime Clannad. It’s about Tomoya Okazaki and Nagisa Furukawa, who have graduated from high school and plan ahead for their future life. Along the way, they meet old friends, get some new friends, and then get ready for the greatest anime tragedy of all time.

Clannad: After Story gives that whole “We won, but at what cost?” vibe. And sure, there is not a single bad episode here because the character personalities are perfect, the romance is perfect, and the drama has so many layers it’s hard to cut through with a knife.

But if you love all that, you should also prepare for the sad ending. This is universally considered the saddest anime ever made, and scientific research has proved 10 out of 10 people who watch this will need immediate heart surgery. So watch at your own risk.

6. Spice and Wolf

Remember how economics was boring? Well, now it isn’t, because it’s a wolf girl teaching it to a friendly traveling merchant. This story is about Holo, a powerful wolf deity. She used to be respected a long time ago, but now people have forgotten about her.

She wants to return to her hometown, Yoitsu, so she teams up with a traveling merchant named Kraft Lawrence. In exchange for becoming his business partner, she asks him to take her there.

Spice and Wolf is full of adventure, trade, and a slowly developing romance. The original anime adapted about half of its light novel, but the new remake started airing, and let’s hope it finishes the light novel.

This series takes you on a fun journey where you learn about different cultures, business, and economics. Combine that with Holo’s energetic personality, and you’ve got an anime with zero boring episodes.

5. Your Lie in April

animesoulking

If you finished Clannad: After Story and your surgically renovated heart is still in one piece, then I’ve got another sad anime—Your Lie in April. This is about a couple slowly finding love through their passion for music and the struggles they face along the way.

Both of them have pasts they wish to avoid, but the difference is one person is like the moon, and the other person is like the sun that shines over it and gives it light. Musical anime, or anything that involves musical instruments, immediately kicks away my interest because the musical parts overshadow the romance parts.

But the only two exceptions I make when recommending anime are this one and Sounds of Life. Your Lie in April is more than a musical anime—it’s about each character trying to overcome abuse and depression while a slow-burn romance blossoms between them. See, this anime turned me into a poet!

4. Kaguya-sama: Love is War

Romance Anime With No Bad Episodes

I know you know this one. Season 3 of Kaguya-sama was one of the best romance anime seasons to ever come out in human history, so this anime deserves to be on this list.

For those who don’t know or haven’t watched the anime, it’s about two students called Kaguya and Shirogane who love each other but are too prideful to confess. Whoever confesses first becomes the loser. Come on, how can any episode be boring in this anime?

Each episode is a constant love battle between two characters who try to defeat the other person by making them confess their love. I don’t know how the author came up with that concept, but it’s a genius one! You also have these cute moments between the characters when they finally get defeated or admit their love, and all that makes this anime perfect.

3. Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-

animesoulking

This is one of those series that keeps up the tension not through romance but by killing the main character and making you wonder how he’ll wake up. This is another one of those anime where our main character gets transported to another world without any warning at all.

But then our main character, Subaru, soon learns that he doesn’t die when he’s killed. And no, it’s not a joke—he literally has the ability to get reincarnated at a specific time as soon as he dies. Oh, and he meets a cute girl called Emilia along the way.

This probably isn’t a wholesome romance anime. Yes, there are some wholesome moments scattered in between, where Subaru makes some dumb jokes, but most of the time, it’s about Subaru trying to survive in a world that’s trying to kill him. Apart from Emilia, there are some other girls he meets along the way too.

2. Toradora!

animesoulking

Toradora’s first episode won’t blow you away. Ryuuji seems like your average main character, and Taiga doesn’t stand out much either. But luckily, the second episode picks up. Both of them want to impress their crushes, so they agree to be friends for now.

And then, little by little, this anime turns into one of the best romance stories I’ve ever seen. Unlike a lot of anime, Toradora doesn’t try to make its characters overly cool or perfect. Taiga isn’t some dream girl, and Ryuuji isn’t a smooth-talking guy who wins her over instantly. That’s what makes them feel real.

Their relationship starts with clashes and arguments, but over time, their chemistry grows naturally. I know anime with tsundere characters rarely make it onto a list with no bad episodes, but this one is an exception.

1. Fruits Basket

animesoulking

No, this is not about fruits. This is about the story of Tooru Honda, a high school girl who discovers the secret of the Souma family—they can turn into animals from the Chinese zodiac. As she gets closer to them, she forms a strong bond, especially with Yuki and Kyou, two boys her age.

And then it’s pretty much some heavy-hitting drama related to the Chinese zodiac. What really makes Fruits Basket work is the drama, and it’s not the regular dumb drama you see in isekai anime nowadays. It’s the kind of drama that stabs you with a knife and twists it real hard.

Each member of the Souma family has scars, and Tooru helps them heal. And this new version of the anime does a perfect job adapting that story. This anime has zero boring episodes, and it also has my favorite couple in romance anime. So this is number one!
