Magilumiere Co. Ltd. Anime Reveals 2 New Cast Members and Company Poster – Hey, there anime fans, the upcoming magical girl anime Magilumiere Co. Ltd. is all set to debut on October 4, 2024, and it has just announced two new voice actors for the show. Along with this exciting news, one of the characters is also featured in a new company-themed promotional poster for the series.
New Cast Members Announced
Chika Anzai and Akira Ishida are the two new voice actors joining the cast.
- Chika Anzai, known for her role as Chisato Nishikigi in Lycoris Recoil, will voice Mei Tsuchiba.
- Meanwhile, Akira Ishida, famous for voicing Akaza in Demon Slayer, will take on the role of Kei Koga.
Additionally, Mei Tsuchiba was featured on the first promotional poster, which was designed to look like a corporate advertisement for magical girl companies. In the world of Magilumiere Co. Ltd., Mei is one of the top magical girls in Japan and is the poster girl for AST Ltd., one of the leading magical girl companies.
Manga and Anime Production Details
Shueisha publishes the original Magilumiere Co. Ltd. manga in their digital magazine, Shonen Jump+. An English version is available on Manga Plus, and VIZ Media is set to release the English print version under the title Magilumiere Magical Girls Inc.
The anime adaptation is directed by Masahiro Hiraoka at animation studios MOE and J.C.STAFF. Shingo Nagai is responsible for the script and series composition, while Hidehiro Asama and Masahiro Fujii handle character designs. Makoto Miyazaki is composing the music for the series.
Storyline Overview
Magilumiere Co. Ltd. follows Kana Sakuragi, an organized and hardworking girl who has interviewed at over 15 companies but hasn’t landed a job. Her luck takes a strange turn when a monster crashes her latest interview.
As chaos unfolds, Kana finds herself assisting a magical girl who comes to the rescue. This unexpected event leads to her becoming the newest magical girl at Magilumiere Magical Girls Inc., a company filled with magical girl professionals.
